Founded on September 28, 2001, by acquiring the remaining assets of Old Dominion Box Company's Set-Up (Rigid) Box Division, Dominion Carton is a manufacturer of specialty paperboard packaging.

Kingsport, Bristol companies collaborate

KINGSPORT — When Lifeforce Glass, a giftware manufacturer in Kingsport, needed packaging for a new product, company officials didn't have to go any farhter than Bristol, Va. Kristina Runciman, president of Lifeforce Glass, did an Internet search for a vendor for a box for their new product, the Dreams Come True Action Kit. Dominion Carton in Bristol was among the first results. "I was amazed to find that the most appropriate vendor for the project was in my own back yard," said Runciman. Dominion Carton creates custom packaging for diverse applications. They manufacture rigid boxes tailored to each customer's needs. Dominion has customers around the country, and in 2007 they produced a chocolate box for the Emmy Awards. "Dominion Carton provided excellent service and support right from the start. Sales Representative Corey Sensabaugh visited us in Kingsport very shortly after I called, and called on us regularly to help us with the project," said Runciman. "Corey actually adapted the size to save Lifeforce some money. The production process was extremely fast, and the quality fantastic. We were able to get the kits to market Lifeforce Glass Inc. right on schedule." Lifeforce Glass wholesales its imprinted gift products to stores in the United States, Canada and Australia. The Dreams Come True Action Kit was inspired by Runciman's experiences creating her perfect life, which according to her includes living in Kingsport. Dominion Carton Does The Emmy's

Dominion Carton teamed up with Prestar Packaging and designed & produced a package for the Emmy awards. Prestar manufactured the boxes, trays and inserts, while Dominion Carton cased, lined and die-cut the lid and completed all the assembly.

The assembly incuded a "Emmy Card" that was placed in the window area of the lid, after the lid was hinged to the box.

Each guest at the Emmy Awards received this box at their table setting. The box was filled with Dove Chocolates.

Dominion Carton Celebrates 5th Anniversary!

Dominion Carton is proud to announce their 5th anniversary. Five years ago on September 29, 2001, George Young purchased the speciality box division of Old Dominion Box Company and formed Dominion Carton Corporation. Since it's aquisition, we have grown into one of the finest Speciality Paperboard Manufacturers on the East Coast. Our diversified product base has made us one of the premier speciality packaging suppliers in the market. Our success lies greatly in our employees and staffs dedication and committment to producing the highest quality products while providing superior service. New Machine

Installation has begun on our new Emmeci MC 92 "Deep Well" box machine. The machine is fully automatic and highly productive. Another example of Dominion Carton's objective for continued improvement, by offering the most modern equipment available to our customers.

Dominion Carton has installed a new Emmeci MC 92 "Deep Well" Machine. The equipment is fully automatic and runs at the highest speeds known in the industry. The machine is ideal for running DVD slipcases, two-piece rigid boxes, clamshell boxes and deep wrapped trays.

Dominion Carton moves to new facility
We're proud to announce that we've finished the move into our brand new facility in Bristol, Virginia. We will still be using the old phone number, but our address has changed.

	Complex book-style container This is a book-style container that has a complex set of pharmaceutical products inside it nested in a vacuum-formed tray.
	Sales presentation container This briefcase-style box comes with a paper insert and custom flocked foam diecut inserts.
	Basket Boxes This is a unique laminated b-flute corrugated basket box. It tapers from top to bottom. Great for the retail end for gifts.
	Two-piece with plastic cover This two-piece box came with a custom-cut flocked foam insert and a vinyl cover (not shown).
	Gift Box This box was distributed as a gift box. It's use was for the consumer to use it putting there own items in the box and giving it as a gift. It is the style of a rigid 2pc box with a ribbon tie on top. The unique part of this package is the quality of the registration. A nice box to incorporate with your business.
